What about the 'details-to-follow' on the frontpage? Are we waiting for CLS to come back? That should have happened within three days, me thinks, so I doubt it will ever occur...

Today we celebrate the birthday of Claude Lévi-Strauss for the first time, when he's not around. Quite a funny feeling. A sad feeling. And he won't be here at deathlist.net anymore either in the future. I will surely miss coming to this website every year at November 28 to celebrate this great anthropologist. This had become almost a ritual for me, but now an era has ended, though I will remember him in great many other ways than at this website. Thanks for some exciting debates throughout the years and good luck with your scores next year!

His deathdate should be corrected, it's actually October 30th not November 3rd.
