"It’s with the heaviest of hearts and unbearable sadness that we must inform you of the passing of our dear friend and Yes co-founder, Chris Squire. Chris peacefully passed away LAST NIGHT in Phoenix Arizona, in the arms of his loving wife Scotty."

Accordingly, he died on my birthday. Just fucking great. Well, get to amend my post in that extra-curricular thread.
Entwistle also died on my birthday I case any of you are thinking of beating Sir Creep on bass players dying on your birthday.

Aye, the only ever present Yes man too, so any claim a future line makes to actually be Yes is slightly more suspect from now on.

Chris Squire of Yes, diagnosed with leukemia.

Shit. He's my music idol, from my favorite band. Is no death sentence, but still. Stay well Chris.

As a follow up to the exchanges hereabouts a few days ago regarding the selling power of ageing artists, and their high chart positions being based on the fact their fans still buy albums, I noticed James Taylor's 16th studio album released this month is his first US #1.

Will Neil Young get the same chart position next week? (he's only ever had one chart topper there before)

Lemme guess..Harvest?
