Surprised how well Patricia Routledge looks in the trailer for the Channel 4 programme on Beatrix Potter. Having been out of the limelight for several years and now being in her late 80s I would have expected her to look frailer. Also clearly still has her marbles.

Heard from a pretty reliable source that Gerald Sim, occasionally discussed in this thread, died last Sunday and the funeral was yesterday. I'm not sure if the family have requested no press coverage or if his star had fell that far that nobody could be bothered to knock up 250 words for the BBC online, but I'm pretty sure you can cross him off 2015.

If true, could be to get the family mourning out of the way for Sheila Sim's sake before the press announce it? With her health, and losing her husband and brother in 3 months, I doubt she'll be about in twelve months time.

Dead is where she'll be: https://www.thestage...ugh-dies-at-93/

Sheila Sim dead at 93 - sure she's DDP fodder too. Check your deadpools too. Awaiting QO.

Confusingly this has brought me points in both the Deathrace and The Hare's Deadpool.

Aside: has anyone noticed recently just how bad the BBC are at reporting the deaths of their own stars/presenters? Gerald Sim, Pamela Cundell and now Tom Coyne all without so much as a mention. Yet they will repeat the shows and have talking heads talking about the days of yore....never really noticed until I started on here.

To be fair it is not just the BBC.

Jeffrey Segal is missing everywhere.

Jeffrey Segal's death (undated) mentioned in the Summer Edition of Equity Magazine (this may have been mentioned before) but I have a link to it now: https://www.equity.o...ne-summer-2015/ Page 16, In Memoriam.

Pamela Cundell has died aged 95 according to this forum. Can't see a mention anywhere else though.

She left £1.25 million in her will including "£5,000 to the Concert Artistes Association – she was a former president – to have ‘a jolly lunch with good wine’ on the anniversary of her death for the next two years."

An interview with Timothy West on the condition of Prunella Scales:

It's not Alzheimer's but a "related kind of dementia"...could it be... Lewy Body dementia?

It only leaves Sally Geeson, aged 65 as the sole survivor from the cast of this 70's comedy. Now she was a stunner when I was a teenager.

I can see your point https://24femmespers...-through-dress/ come to thinkj of it I can see her points as well !

Not too keen on her shoes. I don't think yellow suits her.

Thanks for the update YoungWills. I omitted the word "was" when mentioning Geesons marriage to Stewart. Blame it on proof reader having the day off.

It only leaves Sally Geeson, aged 65 as the sole survivor from the regular cast of this 70's comedy. Now she was a stunner when I was a teenager. She was until 1986 married to William G Stewart of Fifteen to One quiz fame and producer, who also directed all 65 episodes of Bless This House.

FTFY.
