I would not have thought this 3 years ago or even a year past, but Pope John-Paul2 was one of the best there ever was. Compared to the withered old woman currently doing the job it would be hard to find any fault with John-Paul2.

How quickly we forget eh? A year ago it was all Pontiff action around these parts, now he's over 10,000 views short of a mediocre excuse for a sitcom actor and languishing way down the listings.

The Pope got shot in 1981, but didn't die.
His predecessor died in 1978

Same year Liverpool won the European Cup!
