I don't need to name my car.

It is simply 'The Scenic'.  A lean, green loving machine of absolute POWER.

This commercial irritates the hell out of me.

Who the hell names their car "Brad"?

No, no, no - just 'who in the hell names their car?'

My sister's first car was a Ford, named Harrison.

I expect most entries to be totally obscure to those on the other side of The Pond. I suppose TV and radio adverts can be posted, but I'm thinking more TV.

Her name unknown to me until today, Mary Fiumara was the mother in the Prince Soaghetti advert that ran on American TV often from about 1973-83. Everyone knew that 'In the north end of Boston, Wednesday is Prince spaghetti day.' Her 'ANTHONY' yelled out the window was as pervasive in pop culture as 'Where's the beef?!' would be years later.
Anyway, Ms Fiumara dead at 88.
