And I can't imagine anyone refusing to go along with it either when asked to volunteer, even though they would be entirely within their rights to for whatever reason, political, practical or otherwise. He is a 91 year old Texas congressman who was defeated in the Republican primary earlier in the year.He had been a House member since 1980 and before that he had spent the previous 20 years in Texas politics.
