Following the death of Mary Soames I have compiled the following list of surviving children of the deceased Prime Ministers since Winston Churchill.

 

I decided to exclude the children of the still living Prime Ministers as there are far too many of them and for the most part should not trouble the DL in the lifetime of most of the current posters.

I must admit I am not certain about the daughter of Alec Douglas-Home but in the absence of any notifications of death I have assumed they are alive.

 

I must say that's a slightly disappointing list I think - not very long. The PMs didn't seem to do too much bonking did they, you'd think there'd be a few more, even taking into account the passage of time....

 

Oh and btw Faber was born in 23 not 20 (if you want to believe Wikipedia).

 

Anthony Eden had three children one died in WWII another died young and the third died of AIDS effectively wiping out his hereditary title and remember Ted Heath was a batchelor.

 

If I were to included Major, Blair, Brown and Cameron this would add another 11 children not including the two which have already died.
