Fuck me, that makes Vinnie Jones' Gazza-bollock-squeeze look like a Knitting Circle meeting.

Escaped python strangles two children sleeping above pet shop: http://www.abc.net.a...et-shop/4867146

That's really fucking awful.

Police have taken possession of the python, but still do not know how it managed to break out of its enclosure.

Yeah but I think I've got a pretty good fucking idea. Some incompetent and/or lazy, careless cunt didn't lock it up properly. Oh, and just remember, it probably can't have choked them both to death at the same time so that means one of the poor little fuckers would have been waken up by the noise and had to watch the other one die and then watch a python slither over and choke him. Hope the person who is responsible for this gets life. But they will probably just get the same lenient fucking sentence that drunk-driver killers get. There are few things lower than people who own deadly animals but can't control them or can't be bothered to control them.

I have my doubts.....

There is more information about how it escaped in this update: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-08-07/canadian-police-launch-criminal-probe-after-snake-kills-two-chi/4869930

Dr Zorders, on a serious note, since this case touched a bit of a raw nerve with you, you may not want to open that link as it has a photo of the kids who passed away. They were there for a sleepover with the son of the pet store owner.

Uh, that's okay I'm not that sensitive. It's not like they're mine is it? Anyway I already saw them all over the TV news, duh.

The real reason it struck a nerve was because of a couple of bad experiences I've personally had with careless animal owners, which isn't surprising considering I've grown up in one of the chavviest places in the world - you might have heard of it, it's called Britain. Obviously nothing as bad as a python though.....

I bet if someone told him his dick was going to be blown off that evening that wasn't really what he had in mind.

Fall asleep in a bin that then gets collected .

Irish police are trying to trace the family of a Polish man killed after the bin he was sleeping in was picked up by a waste collection lorry in Dublin.

Little is known about the life of Henryk Piotrowski, 43, in Dublin, except that he was sleeping rough in the city centre.

The lorry picked up the bin on Thursday and its contents were loaded onto the onboard crushing equipment.

Horrified staff found his remains after the vehicle was unloaded on Friday.

The operator had no knowledge of the tragedy until the lorry was taken to a waste recycling depot after an overnight round collecting refuse from similar bins across south Dublin.

Staff at the plant were said to be deeply distressed by the tragedy.

Police officers have ruled out foul play and believe Piotrowski was probably sleeping among paper and recyclable rubbish to keep warm.

He was carrying identification papers when he was found and detectives have been liaising with the Polish embassy and Interpol in an effort to find his relatives in Poland.

Barely surviving a motorcycle accident, going out again for the first time after the accident and getting run over by a car.

A Virginia woman who survived both cancer and a devastating motorcycle accident was struck and killed by a car last Sunday, during her first walk outdoors since her accident six months ago.

At around 9:30 in the morning, Sally Ann Okuly was leaving her house for the first time in a long time, to get coffee and the newspaper from the gas station across the street in Woodbridge, Va. But Okuly never made it back across the boulevard — she was hit by driver Amanda Styles-Mays, 24, while Okuly was in the crosswalk, crossing with the light.

"She's the most giving person ever," her husband Bill Okuly told NBC News. They would have celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary this week.

"One of her favorite things to do was walk across the street to the WaWa," Okuly said of his wife.

She had already bought the papers and coffee after crossing the street the first time, but never made it back.

She died while she was doing something she really liked. I've been told that's a Good Thing.

Hein

I just read about that on the BBC site.

Is a coroner something different in the USA? Here in the UK we need a doctor to pronounce death. You wouldn't call the coroner in.

Or does a US coroner have to be medically qualified?
